Chris and his crew from Notch Your Average Tree Service just finished taking down some trees on my and my neighbor’s adjoining property. Trees were in a difficult area to access and also we were wedged between boulders. I thought it would never get done. But Chris was calm and competent from the beginning. He always kept me updated on what needed to be done. He and his crew were on time, worked very hard, and the property looks great. They were pros at what they did. Chris was always easy to get in touch with, and I am very happy with the work they did. I will contact them again for any future work. Thank you, Chris and crew!!

Above and Beyond

This March was our second time working with Chris and his team. The first time was after that huge wind storm 2 years ago and he was the ONLY person that called us back! He came and conquered our huge tree near our house as well as several others that needed to immediately come down. We still had work to be done and called when we were ready to complete the entire project and again Chris called us back and showed up immediately with a plan. He worked with us within our budget, gave us options, and then they went to work. What a beautiful job Chris and his guys did. They made our back wooded yard something to behold, transforming our storm-laden woods into an inviting forest where we can now view the beautiful trees he saved and enjoy the natural stone wall surrounding our property. Chris is a perfectionist and his team works with diligence and respect for the homeowners. Thank you for going above and beyond to make our home a place of beauty.

Tree Removal At Its Best!!!

Tree removal is a daunting task, so I got quite a few bids. I was so happy I hired Notch Your Average Tree Service because Chris and his team did such an incredible job removing 5 very tall pine trees that were leaning towards the house and yard. I was really impressed with how safety conscious he was not only regarding himself and his workers but also towards our house, yard, and other surrounding trees. Chris went the extra mile to prevent damage to our yard by his heavy equipment and he cleaned up all his debris. He always returned my phone calls back in a timely manner, answered all questions that we had, and showed up when he said he would. Going into this I knew nothing about taking a tree down… Got three quotes and found that Chris’s time put into the quote was very thorough!!! Explaining the complete process from start to finish…my tree being in the very back of my yard and an EXTREMELY big pine both my husband and I were concerned about yard damage. Chris and his guys did an outstanding job. The entire crew was very courteous and professional. The trees had to be removed by crane and they handled the job extremely competently and cleaned up the site completely once the job was done. Tornado Damage…No Problem!

A tornado on Cape Cod. Who would have imagined it? It touched down in Chatham on July 23rd and our street was a mess. We did as much as we could but knew we needed a professional tree service for the 3 large oaks that were a tangled mess and miscellaneous limbs that were hanging off other trees. Chris was working on another property but came by as promised, and gave us a quote and a tentative date. He and his crew showed up on the date and time he stated and started to work. Except for the stump grinding which will be completed at a later date they were in and out in half a day. Everything is cleaned up and you’d never know they were here. His trucks, equipment, etc are top notch and we will certainly use him again. Hopefully for routine work and not another tornado.

Amazing Job after the Bomb Cyclone!

Following the big storm, we awoke to one of our large Maples snapped and caught by our other trees just before it could hit the house. On a day that I’m sure they were swamped, Chris answered our first call and was out to assess the situation and give us an estimate. After a long day of other emergency situations, his crew still arrived at our place just before dusk and did an amazing job both safely removing the hanging tree and cleaning up the debris from the storm and their work effort… the remaining part of our tree is nicely trimmed (now with a place to set a drink during yard games!) and the sidewalk looks cleaner than when they arrived. We were really impressed by their professionalism, the equipment they had to achieve the task in incredible time, and their clean up efforts post job. Notch Your Average Tree Service had a friendly crew that we are very likely to call on again to keep our trees healthy and trimmed… we highly recommend them.

Chris and his crew just left my house they were very knowledgable concerning all aspects of trees and removal of them. They arrived promptly and worked all day cutting and removing limbs and grinding of limbs constantly cleaning my yard , they placed material on the ground as to not ruin our grass , they actually left my yard cleaner than before they did the work .
